A Chemistry Graduate Wins the Croucher Scholarship
“I have recently been awarded the University of Oxford Croucher Scholarship. This scholarship will provide full financial support during my study for a DPhil in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Oxford. It also provides a chance for me to connect with bright scientists around the world who belong to the Croucher network. I am very grateful to the Croucher Foundation and the University of Oxford for their generous support.
During my university study, I worked as a summer research intern in three different research groups. In my first and second year, I worked for Professor Yeung Ying Yeung and Professor Steve Tse respectively in the Department of Chemistry. In my third year, I worked for Professor Jonathan Doye at the University of Oxford. I would like to express my gratitude to Professor Yeung, Professor Tse and Professor Doye for the summer research opportunities. They have shaped my current research interest and prepared me well for my postgraduate study and research.”
