The Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Chemistry is collaboratively offered by The Department of Chemistry of CUHK and the Department of Chemistry of the University of Manchester (UoM). In this four-year Dual Degree Programme, students will study at CUHK for the 1st and 2nd years, and then at UoM for the 3rd and 4th years. Upon completion of this Dual Degree Programme, students obtain two Bachelor Degrees of Chemistry (one from CUHK and one from UoM).

This innovative and challenging dual degree programme is designed to equip students for new global economic challenges in the next decade. Students will study for two economics bachelor programmes in CUHK and Tsinghua University, and each student is expected to complete some internship training during the time at Tsinghua University.
By leveraging the strengths of both universities, students in the dual degree programme will receive comprehensive training in economics, finance, and engineering. Enabled by its cross-disciplinary design and geographical convenience, this dual degree programme aims to prepare graduates to capitalize on emerging opportunities and foster a global perspective in the finance and technology industries.
Combining the strengths of the two universities, students participating in the dual degree programme will benefit from rigorous training in both mathematics and engineering. It will significantly enhance the competitiveness of graduates from the dual degree programme, as the practice of modern finance puts great demands on talents equipped with analytical and technological abilities.
Under the dual degree programme, students will graduate with two bachelor’s degrees each from CUHK and BSU respectively. The programme combines the strength from both institutions. In addition to the education and research excellence in sports science, CUHK will offer students the unique experience of integrated eastern and western educational disciplines and overseas exchange opportunities. At BSU, students can acquire knowledge about sports rehabilitation and receive the national-level sports training with the use of advanced sports facilities. Graduates from this programme will be equipped with comprehensive knowledge and skills in sport and exercise science at the international level.
