Social Science – Searching for True Love
Social science includes various academic disciplines that study the functioning of human society and social relationships among individuals. Each social science subject offers a unique disciplinary perspective and involves knowledge and skills to decipher how society and individuals as part of society are intertwined. Beginning their academic journey in Social Science provides students with a broad base, which allows them to explore and learn more about the disciplines and how they interact. The curriculum design enables students to find their interests and paves the way for them to become social scientists, who can contribute to the well-being of individuals in society.
The Social Science Faculty’s broad-based admissions provide students with an option to explore their real interests in the field of Social Science. In the first year, students enrol in faculty package courses without committing to a particular major. From the second year onward, the students commit to one major Social Science programme to pursue a Bachelor of Social Science degree.
