CUHK x CUHK(SZ) “2+2” Collaborative Double Major Programme
In this first-of-its-kind collaborative double-major programme, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) (CUHK(SZ)) jointly launched a new Greater Bay Area (GBA) “2+2” degree programme – Interdisciplinary Data Analytics & X Double Major Programme (IDADM) – providing students with an immersive educational experience in the emerging southern Chinese megalopolis and contributing to the region’s talent pool.
IDADM students will pursue two majors: Interdisciplinary Data Analytics, offered by CUHK, and another major from among specific academic disciplines (science, engineering and business), offered by either CUHK or CUHK(SZ).

In the four-year programme, IDADM students will attend classes and participate in learning and research activities on both the CUHK Hong Kong and Shenzhen campuses.
Craft Your Path
The programme in Interdisciplinary Data Analytics encompasses a wide spectrum of subject knowledge and skills in business, engineering and science, with real-life applications of big data and business analytics for innovation and development. The other major in a related discipline enables in-depth studies. The programme also includes credit-bearing field trip(s) in the GBA and other parts of Asia.
Guaranteed admission to CUHK’s flagship Co-operative Education Programme provides IDADM students with full-time paid work experience in CUHK’s established industry network in the region.
